This week  has been full of lots of first’s. We enjoyed our first whole school assembly as we welcomed a musical performance from Electric Umbrella. The children had lots of fun moving their bodies to the music and also learning some simple sign language. The children also enjoyed their first P.E session in the hall. All the children were curious to explore this big space, moving in a variety of ways and everyone showed great listening to instructions. Leading on from our learning about Goldilocks and the Three Bears we looked at the size of items and learnt new comparative language vocabulary such as smaller, smallest, bigger and biggest.  In our literacy learning we noticed pages from the story of Goldilocks were all muddled up and the children helped each other to put the story back into the correct sequence. We then retold the story together where the children used great expression.  The children are now become confident to story tell to each other.

The nursery team have really noticed how the children are developing their independence especially when coming in every morning. Thank you parent and carers for encouraging your child to become independent with their belongings.
