Year 1 News 27.6.22
This week we celebrated Sports Week. We began the week with a Cricket session from All Stars Cricket.
We warmed up, practiced our throwing and catching skills and learnt the basics of Cricket: bowling and batting.
Then we had a Yoga and relaxation session with Maggie. We first learnt about the importance of breathing and stretching our bodies and how we can use our breath to help regulate our emotions. We learnt different breathing exercises for relaxing and energising ourselves. Then we progressed onto a variety of poses – testing our balance skills!
