The children have had a lovely week learning more about the outdoor environment. We started the week by using the school orienteering maps to learn about different parts of our school and found that reading a map takes practise.  Later, in the week the children thoroughly enjoyed working collaboratively, making 3D maps of the woodland area which included some of their ideas of how to improve it.
