We started this week thinking about who can help us when we are feeling upset and then we put these names and photos on our class helping hand. The children have been looking at different nursery rhymes to celebrate World Nursery Rhyme week. They listened to Jack and Jill, Hickory Dickory Dock, Head Shoulders Knees and Toes, Row, row, row, row your boat and The Wheels On The Bus.
We used Hickory Dickory Dock to think about the different times we complete activities such as brushing our teeth in the morning, eating at lunch time and going home from school in the afternoon. We joined in with Jack and Jill using our small world area, Head Shoulders Knees and Toes to look at different body parts and also thought about what we would take if we were on a boat when singing Row, row, row your boat.
Towards the end of the week the children were able to watch a special performance of Cinderella.
