The children were excited to return after the weekend to see the tadpoles. They commented how they had grow a bigger head. We have begun to feed them special tadpole food which is like fish food. On Monday the post man delivered a parcel with something living inside. We thought what it could be as the box was small. There were lots of ideas from foxes to spiders. We opened it to see a small tub of caterpillars. We used the ipad to video the caterpillars and zoom in to see them. We could see lots of tiny black hairs on the caterpillars body. Throughout the week we learnt about the lifecycle of a butterfly and enjoyed the story of The Hungry Caterpillar. On Wednesday we had our first outdoor P.E lesson where we learnt to work as a team taking part in a running race. It was lots of fun cheering our friends on.
On Friday we said goodbye to Mrs Bowen as she sets off on her new adventure.
