This week the children have been showing us their independent skills as they come into school by themselves, organise their belongings in the cloakroom and begin the first activity of the day in their colour teams.
We began the week with our Phase 2 phonics learning the phonemes s, a, t, p and particularly enjoyed the Jolly Phonics songs and actions. In maths this week we have been learning to subitise and use positional language to describe dot patterns. The children ended the week with their first visit to the library and are looking forward to sharing their books with their families.
