This week we have continued to learn about woodland animals and their habitats. The children have learnt new vocabulary such as: sett, warren, lodge and drey and have enjoyed building their own woodland habitats using the small world resources and animals.
The children have also been learning words and actions to the poem ‘I’m a little hedgehog’, we performed this for the parents and shared it on Evidence Me. Outside, the children have explored a range of creative activities using natural resources such as: conker rolling, leaf rubbing and leaf printing.
In PE this week, the children all enjoyed the opportunity to explore the low apparatus revisiting tuck and star shapes from last week.
