This week we have been learning to locate different areas around our school grounds using a map. We used an aerial photograph to help locate the areas we wanted to visit.
The children have also been learning to identify 2D shapes by their names and their properties, we went on an environmental shape walk to see how many different shapes we could see around the school e,g, a round clock, square windows and rectangle door.
The children attended a Harvest Festival Assembly led by Reverend Robert. They learnt that harvest festival is a celebration of the food that is grown and giving thanks for our food.
