This week the children have enjoyed learning about bears: they started out sharing what they already knew about bears e.g. the names of bears, what they eat and where they live and then they used non-fiction texts and search engines to find out more about brown bears, polar bears and panda bears.
The children have thought about who they can speak to in school if they are worried about something and they completed ‘helping hands’ to identify adults who can help them.
Towards the end of the week the children watched a performance of Cinderella. They also had the opportunity to listen to a professional singer who sang to them and talked about different types of music and how it can make them feel.
