We began the week by talking about our trip to Cassiobury Park and sharing our favourite memories. The children then all completed their own recounts of the day using their phonic knowledge.
On Tuesday, we wrote to our new teachers to tell them what we like to do at home or at school. The children enjoyed exploring their new classrooms and meeting the adults who will be with them in September. They ended the afternoon with a whole class story and singing.
On Wednesday, we were thrilled to watch the children from Hip Hop Club perform their moves in their End of Year Assembly. On Friday, the children in ‘i Rock’ showed off their musical talents on the guitar, keyboard, drums or vocals. Well done to all of the children who participated.
