On Monday, we had a visit from Watford FC who read the children a story about football. They then were given a task to write about what the little girl might be dreaming about at the end of the story. They used their imaginitation and came up with some fantastic ideas.
On Tuesday we were very lucky to be able to watch the Year 2 dress rehearsal for their leavers show. The children were a great audience and we were very impressed with the singing and acting. Later in the morning, the children visited their new classroom. They had a look through the current Year 1 reading and writing books and asked any questions they had about learning in Year 1.
We ended the week with a class talent show where we were entertained with dancing, gymnastics, singing and drawing.
